Aspen Catholic is the outreach arm of our parish welcoming all parishioners and people from across the nation who seek a deeper understanding of God. Hosting conferences and events of the highest caliber, we believe passionately in the power of Jesus Christ, alive in His Catholic Church, to change lives, attitudes and, ultimately, the world. We desire Aspen to be known not only for its stunning natural beauty, outstanding skiing and culture but also as a destination for formation in the best of dynamically orthodox theology and spirituality. All are invited to our special events!

Through the support of St Mary’s parishioners and diligent fundraising efforts, St Mary’s is blessed to send 8-10 missionaries to serve with the Missionaries of Charity in Tacloban City each fall. The missionaries spend the majority of their time with children at the Gift of Joy orphanage and with the residents of the Gift of Peace Home for the dying, in addition to visiting many members of the community distributing the school and medical supplies purchased by St Mary’s parish. If you are interested in going this fall or donating towards the effort please contact Julia at the Parish Office.
Backpacking & Rafting Excursion
July 29th – August 2nd
Out of Buena Vista, CO – the Collegiate Peaks
Cost: $550 (by check) or $570 (by credit card)
This authentically Catholic excursion will offer young adults the opportunity for an intense experience of faith, formation, and the outdoors. Allow the natural beauty of the world to open you to the deep questions that lead us to God. The challenges of being away from our natural comforts will forge community and form disciples of the Lord. Every day includes Holy Hour, Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, rosary, spiritual talks and group discussions in addition to the outdoor components. This year’s excursion will take us into the beautiful collegiate mountain range with both a summit of at least one of its many peaks and a day of rafting. We look forward to adventuring with you!
If you are interested in attending, please contact Monica McKay at 303-728-4434 to interview and register or simply at email@example.com with questions.
