Parents – the Heart of Faith Formation

Because parents are a child’s first and enduring teachers, you as parents are the teachers of your child’s faith formation. No one can take your place! It is essential to your child’s growth and development in the Catholic faith that you live the life of faith at home and in the world. The success of your child’s formation in Christ radically depends upon your parental example and involvement, both in weekly Faith Formation and Sunday Mass attendance.

Our program is focused on giving you the tools you need to live the life of faith in the home, with your children. With this in mind, we invite your family to make Faith Formation and Sunday Mass of top priority because God has great things in store for you and your children!

Sacramental preparation within the Archdiocese of Denver is a two year process, with children receiving First Reconciliation in the first year, and First Holy Communion and Confirmation after completion of the second year.

We have great plans for our 2020-21 year of Faith Formation!  Normally we meet in-person every Wednesday night from 5:30-6:45 p.m. beginning in middle September.  This year’s program will keep the same schedule but will include virtual and/or home study options.  Appropriate safety measures will be adopted for any in-person classes offered in accordance with the current local health ordinances.  All are welcome to join in the age-appropriate classes for children, middle schoolers, teens and adults.  You will have the opportunity to choose your preferred method of attendance.

The registration fee is $75 (per family).
